The Cups Café

A large multi-zone café and social venue covering a main dining hall, a bar seating area, a lounge zone, a billiard room, and a central coffee bar. The coffee bar is the spatial centerpiece- a large freestanding curved counter with a black fluted front panel, white granite worktop, dark timber surround, teal glazed tile backsplash, and a suspended black metal mesh canopy frame with copper lettering signage above. Menu boards in timber lettering are mounted directly onto the back bar wall, and a glass pastry display case sits at the counter end.

Concept

The design treats the café as a destination with multiple identities within a single space rather than a single-use F&B outlet. Each zone –  dining, lounge, bar, and billiards – has its own material finish, lighting, and furniture character while the dark timber columns, beam ceiling, and black marble floor provide continuity across all areas. The illustrated line-art wallpaper, neon sign, and pop art paintings give the space a curated, gallery-like quality that sets it apart from a conventional café interior. The coffee bar is positioned as the visual anchor of the space, designed to be seen from every zone.
