Sierra Leone House

Sierra Leone House

A four-story residential villa designed for Sierra Leone, covering a basement with parking and a service unit, and three upper floors each containing a self-contained living unit. The facade is symmetrical with a central colonnaded entrance portico, white render finish, grey natural stone cladding at the base, warm timber window surrounds and pergola elements, and black metal balcony railings across all floors. A basement garage accommodates three vehicles with a ramp entry visible from the street.

Concept

The design delivers a large multi-unit residential building that reads as a single unified villa from the street. The symmetrical facade with its classical entrance portico, repeating balconies, and consistent material palette gives the building a formal presence appropriate for a prominent street-facing plot. Warm timber detailing on window surrounds and pergola structures softens the classical composition and introduces a tropical residential character suited to the West African context. Each floor functions as an independent full-floor residence while sharing the same spatial organization and architectural language throughout.
