Rho apartment- Kitchen

A compact galley kitchen designed with two clearly separated zones: a cooking and prep run along one wall, and a storage and appliance wall on the opposite side. The cooking run features cream lacquered base cabinets with a black granite worktop, a green subway tile backsplash with under-cabinet LED lighting, and dark timber upper cabinets with brass bar handles. A full-height fridge is integrated at the end of the run.

Concept

The design maximizes functionality in a narrow kitchen footprint by treating each wall as a dedicated zone, one for cooking, one for storage and coffee. The material palette of warm timber, cream lacquer, and black granite keeps the space grounded without feeling heavy. The green subway tile backsplash introduces color as a single accent without disrupting the overall neutral tone. The dining area is integrated into the kitchen rather than separated, making efficient use of the available floor area.
